Tribal artisans are free to express themselves, weaving the design and color transitions as they go. Each carpet is hand made by the artisan weavers of the Qashqa’i tribes of remote southern Iran. Fine, hand spun wool is steeped in colors coaxed from local vegetables, fruits, and flowers. Then, the wool is hand woven to create each unique composition.
